ARABANDA
An independent commodities brokerage, advisory and project-management house operating at the seam of the capital-rich Gulf and the resource-rich Southeast Asian archipelago.
Most institutional players in this corridor are too large to engage at the deal sizes that matter to mid-tier producers and investors, too generalist to navigate the regulatory, cultural and operational realities of Indonesia, or too narrow to handle the full transaction lifecycle.
Arabanda is built specifically for this gap: an institutional-grade boutique that speaks both languages, sits inside both markets, and can take a counterparty from introduction to delivered cargo without the deal falling between desks.
Capital moves east.
Cargo moves west.
The corridor we work does not run through London, Geneva or Singapore. It runs from the Gulf to the ASEAN archipelago, anchored in Dubai, Jakarta, Sulawesi and Hong Kong. Sovereign wealth, family offices and industrial groups across the GCC are building durable positions inside the supply chains of the next two decades; Indonesia's downstream agenda is opening entry points that did not exist ten years ago.
We start with the relationship and the opportunity.
Whether a buyer needs supply, a producer needs a market, or an investor needs a route into the corridor, we identify and qualify the right counterparty from a curated network of mines, processors, offtakers, traders and financiers.
Commercial Brokerage
We bring buyers and sellers of physical commodities together and structure the deal around them. Our value is in the network, the structuring, and the orchestration of every leg of the transaction, from origination and negotiation to trade finance, logistics, inspection and risk, so that counterparties can transact with confidence.
Advisory & Consultancy
We advise GCC investors, traders and corporates entering or scaling within Southeast Asia, and Indonesian producers engaging MENA capital and markets. Market entry, due diligence, operating-model design, trade-finance structuring, and corridor intelligence, independent of any associated brokerage activity.
Project Management
In selected situations, we run cross-border deals, ventures and programs end-to-end: joint ventures, inbound investment programs, trade hubs and bonded infrastructure, mine-site and logistics development. We plan, organise and control every workstream from concept to operational state.
Nickel
Indonesia is the structural centre of the global nickel market. We work the value chain from ore and limonite through to MHP and intermediates, connecting producers to MENA industrial buyers, traders and investors with appetite for physical offtake and equity participation in producing assets.
Coal
Indonesian thermal and metallurgical coal continues to underpin regional industrial and power demand. We originate supply, structure medium- and long-term offtake, and coordinate the financing and logistics layers around them.
Coffee
Robusta from Sumatra and Sulawesi, specialty arabica from Aceh and Toraja: a long-running thread between our two markets. We connect producers and exporters with roasters, traders and importers across the Gulf, with field presence in producing regions.
The lightest and most common engagement: a deal you want done. We bring the counterparty, structure the commercial and financing terms, coordinate the logistics, manage the inspection and compliance overlay, and see it through to delivery and settlement.
Engagement that sits beside the client rather than between counterparties: positioning, structuring, validating or building, independent of any single transaction. Strategy, due diligence, operating models, policy and performance frameworks.
The deepest level, reserved for principals who want the outcome and mandate Arabanda to make it happen. Multi-leg, multi-party, multi-jurisdiction work across JVs, investment programs and trade hubs, where the value is in orchestration itself.

Corridor specialists
Built for one trade: the Gulf to Southeast Asia and back. We know its counterparties, its choke points and its commercial conventions in detail.
Boutique scale, institutional discipline
Small enough for the deal sizes the majors overlook; disciplined enough in compliance, structuring and execution for the largest counterparties to engage with confidence.
Operator's perspective
Our founders have sat on the principal side, run trade-cycle operations, and worn the operational risk. It shapes how we structure, advise and manage.
Full-lifecycle capability
Introduction through structuring, financing, logistics and delivery, without the deal being re-explained to a new advisor at each stage.
Local presence, both sides
Offices, partners and networks in both the GCC and Indonesia. Compliance by default: full KYC/AML and counterparty screening, applied without exception.
Independent and aligned
Fewer, better-structured deals over a wide pipeline of marginal ones. The relationship, not the trade, is the asset.
